UX Design for Fashion

UX design is the process of designing User Interfaces (UI) and User Experiences (UX) for websites, apps, and other digital products. As ecommerce and and digital retailing become more and more relevant for fashion companies, it’s  mandatory to improve the customer’s overall experience, leading to customer loyalty, more engagement and increased sales.

In the fashion and luxury industries however, UX designers need to balance the need for usability and conversion rate optimization with the need to convey brand stories and emotions, and being consistent with the brand image.

So how to we create fashion ecommerce websites that meet all the expectations?

With Michele Meggiolan, UX Designer and Digital Art Director, we’ll answer to some important questions such as:

  • What matters more, the design or the content?
  • How do online brands differentiate themselves?
  • How do usability needs and brand image balance?
  • How do we convey emotions in e-commerce?
